We Believe...

...In the Verbal plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments. The preservation of God's Word through the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus. The King James Version is the best English translation of the Bible. (II timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:89)

...In a litteral, historical, and grammatical interpretation of the scriptures. The 66 books of the Bible are final and authoritative. (II Peter 1:19-21; Revelation 22:18-19)

...That God is three in one persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created the world in six literal twenty-four hour days. (I John 5:7-8)

...All men are sinners and come short of the glory of God. They are all in need of salvation and unable to save themselves. (Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

...Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for the sins of all mankind and salvation is by grace, through faith in Him alone, based on the finished work of Christ. He rose again 3 days later, afterward He ascended back into heaven and is interceding on behalf of believers. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Luke 2:7; I Corinthians 15:4)

...Heaven and Hell are real literal places. Man has the freedom to accept or reject the grace of God. When accepted, the believer is eternally secure. (Luke 16:23 ; Revelation 22:7; John 10:28)

...The local church is God's institution to carry out the Great Commission. The two offices of the local church are pastor and deacon. The two ordinances of the local church are baptism by immersion for believers only and the Lord's Supper as a memorial. (Acts 1:8; I Timothy 3:1-7; I Timothy 3:8-13; Acts 2:41; I Corinthians 11:27-29)

...The imminent, pretribulational bodily rapture of believers. The premillennial return and literal millennial reign of Christ. Believers will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ and unbelievers at the Great White Throne. (I Corinthians 15:51; I Thessalonians 4:15-17; 1:9-10; 5:9-10; James 5:7-9; I Corinthians 4:5; Revelation 22:12; 20:11,15

...It is the obligation of every believer to live holy lives and witness to the lost of the saving power of Christ. (I Peter 1:15-16)

...Speaking in tongues and the working of sign miracles ceased upon the completion of the New Testament Scriptures. (I Corinthians 13:10)

...All forms of compromise with the world, liberalism, ecumenicism, neo evangelicalism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided. (I John 2:15-17; II Corinthians 6:14-18; Proverbs 19:27; Galatians 1:8-9; Jude 3; Romans 16:17)
